Breathing Exercises Section (Pranayama):  Total time 5-10 Minutes

Kundalini Yoga Section:  Total time 5-10 minutes

  • Kundalini Awakening Raja Yoga Kriya: 5-10 minutes – Do the Beginners version and only if comfortable with that move onto the Intermediate or Advanced versions.  This set will channel Kundalini Energy up towards the higher regions.

Third Eye – Ajna Chakra Opening & Balancing Participation Guidelines

Following are the guidelines which I suggest we follow…

  • Please post all comments, questions and feedback in the comments section of this post.  This way all will benefit from the discussion.  Feel free to ask questions or discuss issues, as that is one of the main reasons for this particular class format.  Of course, you are free to email me as well if you would like the discussion to not be public.
  • If you like, you can indicate with a comment that you have completed your daily session.  Could be as short as “did it”, or of course could be questions, issues or more detailed feedback.  The hardest part with a daily yoga and meditation practice is establishing consistency and regularity and I think having to acknowledge that you completed your daily sadhana (spiritual work) will help in facilitating that.  In addition, your comments would inspire others as well.
  • I will post all information regarding the class in the comments section below as well, so please check periodically for updates.
  • Before starting your daily yoga and meditation session, take a moment and tune in to your higher self for guidance and protection.  At the end of every session, visualize yourself and the world as you would like it to be.
  • Do the best you can and modify the class as you require.  It is more important to do something, than be overwhelmed and not do anything at all.
  • I wish you all a wonderful learning and transforming experience.

I have recently found out about the ajna chakra, and began practicing exercises in order to open it. The one benefit I have found that’s helped is my sleep has gotten much, much better. But, I came across your site, and thought that what you have to offer for your classes might benefit as well. Ever since childhood, I’ve known I’ve had a special gift with visions and prophecy, and hope by opening this eye, will increase this.

    hi,

Mr. Anmol, thanks to start this great work in the world of meditation.

I am meditating for the last 24 years, and i think that the stage of AJNA CHAKRA has been reached by me. i see some miracles within me especially at the point of Ajna Chakra.

before 18 years i felt an experience that my meditation is trying to me inner consciousness to the last chakra of meditation. i felt that i am being transported to an higher stage of this world and my body has transformed into a red/bright pink ball and a great hand appeared beneath that ball and it was carrying that ball to upside in the open and open space. but when a great hole appeared before me upward, then my body suddenly got much amount of fear that i recovered back from my subconsciousness and i also felt that i have been thrown from a very high altitude in the space to the floor of my house. i got tremendous amount of perspiration on my body in the month of around december, 1991. tell me that how this fear will be removed, i think to reach at the last stage of meditation we have pass through that hole of much fear.. since then i am doing meditation but i fear to not to face that fear again, but i will have to face it. thanks Mukesh

    Hi Sam,

Make sure you don’t overdo it. AUM mantra meditation is a Beej (Seed) mantra meditation and directly stimulates the Third Eye, so go at a steady pace, certainly don’t over strain.

Also, include in your routine physical yoga or other fitness routines to insure your body and internal systems are in good shape. This will make it easier to deal with any kundalini awakening process.

All your symptoms I and others have experienced, please heed my advice above.

    Best,
    Anmol

    Hi Sam,

I am not certain about your question regarding the body locks, but essentially the repetitions should be done during the single breath. So do as many as you can comfortably with the single breath method.

The pressure in the forehead is frequently reported and the fast twitching is energy. Both are good signs and symptoms of more advanced meditations as well.

The Third Eye feeds on awareness, so the more you concentrate there the more it awakens. This is one of the best approaches for opening this center.

    Let me know your progress.

    All Good Wishes,
    Anmol

    Hi Anmol,
I started the Ajna class a week ago but i havent been able to post comments.Well i really enjoyed the class its really great. My problem comes with the Kundalini Awakening technic in the beginners section, when performing the body locks is it ok to take more than one inhalation(rest a bit) between the counts and still continue to count 8 where you can now do the Triple lock with your arms up-stretched? The Anulona (Chakra balancing breathing exercise) Pranayama was great i found it easy to do other technics after doing it. I found intriguing is the tip to breath through right nostril for increased energy, works like magic.
Interesting part is my experience with Third Eye opening, I felt very strong pressure on my forehead and after some moments my whole forehead was twitching so much,my eyelids too,it lasted about minute.I feel the pressure at any time, it comes an goes-is my third eye open? If it is how can i use it wisely?
