Opening Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra Meditation Technique for Psychic Powers
Chakra Meditation Technique to Open Third Eye
Guided Meditation Technique #2
The second guided meditation technique we will explore in the Free Online Guided Meditation E-Book is a widely used and accepted method for opening, activating and balancing the mysterious and powerful Ajna Chakra (Third Eye). It is the the potent AUM Mantra meditation technique.

(From Chapter 1 of the Guided Meditation Video Series for Daily Practice:- AUM Meditation to Rapidly Open Third Eye)
Background of Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
The Ajna Chakra is the sixth chakra of the Kundalini Seven Chakra System. A chakra is an energy vortex which resides in a particular location of the body and governs the organs and glands of that region. A Chakra is also associated with certain traits and characteristics of the personality and forms a bridge between mind, body and spirit.
The Ajna Chakra (or Third Eye) eye lies at the very top of spine in the medulla oblongata. It relates to the pituitary gland, the pineal gland, the nasociliary nerve plexus and frontal lobes of the brain.
Chakra Meditation means to activate and balance a particular chakra, thus improving the functioning of everything in that particular region as well as refining the associated personality traits and characteristics. In some cases psychic powers associated with a particular chakra are also unleashed.
Ajna Chakra literally mean “To Command”. This chakra is also called the “Third Eye” as it’s activation gives one the power of intuitive knowledge. In addition, it is called the “Guru Chakra” as its activation connects one to the “Inner Guru”. Similarly, it is also called “Eye of Shiva” or “The Divine Eye” for it’s awakening implies the higher stages of meditation and wisdom.
Each chakra can be activated by several means. In this guided meditation we will use the physical trigger point of the chakra (kshetram) as a point of concentration to activate it. In addition, each chakra is associated with a particular seed sound (Beej Mantra) which can be utilized to awaken it. For the Ajan Chakra the Beej Mantra is the primordial sound “OM” (AUM) and this guided meditation will be using that as well.
Tools required for Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
- An alarm clock, stop watch or other time device.
Benefits of Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
Primary Benefits:
- Builds the power of intuition.
- Bestows and increases Psychic Powers.
- Increases and refines awareness.
- Provides clarity of thought, insights and wisdom.
- Allows one to connect to the “inner guru” or “higher self” for guidance and inspiration.
- Builds the Yogic Mind or Neutral Mind which is free from attachments of the ego.
- Build the power to read others and detect their subtle and gross energetic conditions.
- Promotes flow of Kundalini Energy into the higher centers.
Secondary Benefits:
- Promotes the ability to have Lucid Dreams.
- Allows for non-verbal communication.
- Builds focus and one pointedness of the mind.
- Improves your vision.
- Promotes health and wellbeing.
Cautions for Practicing Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
Do not strain when holding shambhavi yoga mudra (detailed below).
Guided Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
Follow the step by step guided meditation below to practice this technique:
- Sit in a comfortable cross legged position. You may also sit on a chair or lean against a wall for this meditation.
- Set your alarm or other time device for 20 minutes.
- Elongate your spine upwards, lengthen your neck and subtly bring your chin back and in, like a soldier at attention. This will align the spine with the back of your head.
- Take 5 deep, slow breaths though the nose. This will oxygenate your blood and relax you.
- Keeping the head straight look up at an imaginary point in the middle of your forehead, just above the eyebrows. This eye position is called shambhavi yoga mudra. Close your eyes while holding this mudra. Do not strain excessively.
- Rest your hands in any comfortable position, you can place them on your knees.
- Try to remain as still as possible.
- Now inhale deeply and begin to chant in a soft, slow, steady voice the manta OM (pronounced AUM). One chant of OM (AUM) Mantra should last for the entire exhalation. Its a long “Oh”, followed by a semi long “Mmmm” during each exhalation. Once all the air has been expelled, inhale fully again and begin to chant the mantra once more. Visualize the OM sound coming from a point in the middle of the forehead just above the eyebrows and emanating throughout your entire body.
- Continue for the duration of the meditation. If your eyes tire from shambhavi yoga mudra release the mudra but continue to chant the OM (AUM) mantra as above. Reapply the mudra again when ready.
- Once you have completed the meditation, rub the palms of your hands together to make them warm and place them on your eyes as you open them slowly. This will relax and comfort your eye muscles.
Hints and Tips for Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
- There are many variations to OM (AUM) Mantra chanting for the activation of Ajna Chakra. I will provide a variation that only requires silently chanting OM Mantra and therefore can be practiced almost anywhere. Follow all steps from the guided meditation above except instead of chanting OM (AUM) Mantra out loud, as you inhale chant “Oh” silently, while visualizing the sound flowing into Ajna Chakra from your forehead and then silently chant “Mmmm” as you exhale, visualizing the sound leaving your forehead from Ajna Chakra. The rest is the same as the guided meditation above.
Secret of Ajna Chakra Meditation Technique (Third Eye):
Many women today are actually practicing Ajna Chakra Meditation without even knowing it. This is resulting from the tradition of wearing a bindi. A bindi is the colorful decorative dot placed in the middle of the forehead and was designed originally to provide continual stimulation to Ajna Chakra by way of its Kshetram (physical trigger point). So next time you wear a bindi, remember that not only does it look oh so fine, but it is also raising your level of awareness and consciousness - not bad for a dot.

So does saying aum in your head work too, if so does it work just as good as saying out loud?
on July 7th, 2008 at 3:53 pm
I have been trying this meditation for a bit now, I can feel the pressure/slight pain in the forehead. I have wanted to open my Third Eye due to my interest in the paranormal. I hope to open it soon, and use my abilities to help others. How long does it take to really see results? Days? Weeks? Month? Also I am meditating every day, that to much? Thanks.
on July 11th, 2008 at 11:13 am
if a non hindu wants to do it can he use his own religios term except `aum`?
on August 8th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
Meditating everyday is not too much. Hard to guess how long it takes for results, but the pressure in that region is an indication of the Third Eye activating.
All Good Wishes,
Anmol
on August 8th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
The reason the sound “AUM” is used is because that is a seed sound for this center. I try to tell the students to forget the religion connotations of that word and instead just concentrate on the vibrations that sound creates. Hope this helps.
Best,
Anmol
on August 8th, 2008 at 6:31 pm
Yes you can say AUM silently as well, it will have the same affect, although I recommend vocalizing it initially as that is more easily felt.

Anmol
on August 15th, 2008 at 6:38 pm
Is it neccessary to have a formal initiation to a mantra before using it. In this case it is the AUM mantra, or you can just use it otherwise (without initiation). Is there going to be a considerable differance with or without initiation, for the adept practicing a mantra, be it in chanting or meditation.
on August 18th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
No I do feel you need to be formally initiated. The guidance and blessings of a good teacher of course are invaluable, but as far as using the AUM Mantra, you will gain equal benefit from it, regardless of how you have come upon the wisdom.

I started practicing Ajna Chakra meditation for a week now. I started once in the morning for 3 days and now I am doing at Morning and Night. After 15 minutes of meditation, I feel pain in the throat and get peculiar visions of distantly known sufferers (neither from friends or relatives). Unable to get back to concentration, I just break my meditation with a prayer for their well being.

I have a questions…in order to open your third others says that you need a good foundation chakra which is our root chakra go to the sacral, plexus, heart, throat and third eye…?
on October 22nd, 2008 at 10:00 pm
You can target chakras individually as well, although it is wise to balance the entire system eventually. So you can begin with any chakra you like, many famous Kundalini Yoga schools prefer to start with the Third Eye first, so that you can awaken your inner guidance system, and thus have it help you through the rest of you journey.

.some peoples are believing rebirth and some others are not believing it,i have noted that in our world some peoples are rich when they born as well as some others are handicaped, sick, facing powerty…etc.then why some peoples are facing difficulties in their life when they born?is these outputs of their previous birth? i would like to know about rebirth is real or not?

Hi Anmol,
I am very delighted after watching your video on Ajna Chakra meditation as I am very much interested in “intuition/pysche” power ability. However im rather confuse as to which is the best practice ,coz i also learned that there is a meditation where instead of the 3rd eye in the middle of your forehead, there is also d 3rd eye at the back of the neck. Kindly advise me which is more effective. I find it otherwise easier to visualize the 3 rd eyes your way. How long is the meditation? Thanks Anmol and God Bless

Great to hear you are benefiting from the AUM Mantra Ajna Chakra Meditation.
I like to approach such ideas as reincarnation as tools for spiritual growth. Rather than debate it’s validity, I say it’s real value lies in whether it can help you in your spiritual growth or not. For some, it is valuable to think it’s true, for other it is not.
So my view is quite different with regard to ideas such as reincarnation, etc. If it helps use it, if not leave it alone.

The location of the chakra is the center of the head. The center of the forehead is the trigger point for this chakra, thus concentrating there helps awaken this center. Most people who practice this meditation or other Third Eye meditations, will start to feel pressure and other sensations in the forehead region in due course.
Glad you have found the website :-D.

Re: Meditation vs. Concentration and Head pressure:
Dear Anil Lohiya,
In my experience, concentration is a skill of the brain and mind where you coordinate them to focus unwaveringly, without the mind wandering to other subjects or thoughts, beside the one at hand. It is also the state of just maintaining the position of observer, rather than being taken into and involving oneself with the subject matter of the stream of passing thoughts. Meditation is when the brain relinquishes it’s tense hold on the mind and allows it to pass to progressively more deep levels of consciousness and awareness without strain or stress. When one’s skills develop, the brain shifts to deeper and deeper levels of energetic activity from beta to alpha, theta, delta, and eventually gamma. The state of consciousness that is associated with each of these levels is experienced by the observer (you). The author Ken Wilbur (YouTube) and H.H. The Dalai Lama, are both experts at this.
The pressure in your head is probably due to the influx of Kundalini energy to the brain, which is the stream that is ignited by K Yoga, running from the area at the Coccyx up to where it is being focused at the third-eye in the forehead. It seems that as the brain adjusts to this new stream, it experiences it as pressure. I experience this with the Wealth Meditation, except in different areas of the head. In this case the pressure builds up, and then dies down, once i become accustomed to the new level of practice and longer time spent doing so.
I hope this is useful until Anmol can assist you!
Sincerely,
Ra

The Pressure is not unusual to feel in the forehead region and is an indication of that center activating and awakening. Unless the pressure gets very intense, it is not an issue. Many of us have had this for decades without any problems.
Concentration, can be thought of a process of exclusion, whereby in meditation, although the mind may be very focused, it is all inclusive. This is along the lines of what Ra explained above.
Meditation encompassed concentration, but concentration does not encompass meditation.
I suggest to include physical yoga in your practice to ensure you are building up your body and systems to handle the greater flow of Kundalini/Energy that is being generated with your current meditation practice.
You can look at the sets in the Online Kundalini Yoga Kriyas E-book or in the other online classes (specially course 101) to begin that aspect of your practice.
Let me now how it goes.

Anmol

hello
wt are the symptoms for ajna chakra meditation
and how can we awake kundalini with activated ajna chakra
on January 16th, 2009 at 4:08 pm
Typical symptoms of Third Eye awakening are pressure or other sensations in the forehead region. Also, increase in intuition, insights and psychic abilities.
The flow of kundalini as awareness will awaken Ajna. Once awakened Anja can guide you further in your kudalini awakening.

how can i contact or have directions from my guru without physical approach actually it is very difficult to approach and talk with him.

hi
is felling of currents flowing in body is essential symptom for kundalini awakening.
can a person have awakened kundalini even if doesnt feels currents or vibrations.
one more thing i feel heating sensation in forehead region is it good or bad, is my chakra(ajna) is activating
on January 22nd, 2009 at 9:32 pm
You are doing a very good practice, keep going without concern for results. Those are in the hands of the Lord.
Kundalini can be awakened without need for any such currents or sensations, although that is uncommon.
Heat or other sensation is a common sign when doing Ajna Chakra meditations. There is no need for concern. Just don’t overdo it, and listen to your body and inner voice for guidance.

Anmol
on January 31st, 2009 at 6:44 pm
It depends on how closed it is. In general you will start to know it is activating as sensations begin to arise in the forehead region. Later, intuition and insight will indicate that the center is truly open and awakened.

hi!thank you for your response, but i found this 3 eye meditation technique in this site http://starseedlightworkers.bl.....rcise.html .they suggest to use the “thoh” sound pronounced toe.i found that this works more better than “aum” sound.what do you think of that sound and do you recommend that sound to for me to work with or “aum” more?
thank you.amazing site you have built here.keep up the good work.
on February 6th, 2009 at 8:26 pm
I believe the sound you have indicated is essentially quite similar. The “ooooooohhhhhhh” part is what is elongated, so in “thooooooh”, and AUM pronounced “ooooooooooomm” you will get very similar affects. The rules with chakra seed sounds and colors, leaves room for individual variations, so use the version that you feel works well for you.
The “thoh” sound is similar to what the Tibetan Monks use, I like it.

Hello Anmol!
I`m trying to practice this meditation, the length of meditation affect the speed of 3rd eye awakening? And when i`ve read the other ways of awakening the 3rd eye, i`ve noticed that that must be done with caution.i`ve a question, why this is dangerous and how i`ll know about my chakras, i mean their current status - awakened or not? I`m 18 years old and very want to learn this, especially after i`ve noticed that i can move the objects not using a hand and using my energy and concentration. Can you advice me something? I do not know, perhaps i`m trying to rush everything, but i`ve many questions that i want to ask, especially one about meditation, can i ask it?

Hello!
Thank you so much for sharing your womderful wisdom wiith all of us!
Well, about me, I never particularly did any meditation ofor the thrid eye. But froma past few months, I’m having intense ‘pressing sensation’ in the third eye region.
What do you think is the cause of this?

With Ajna Chakra, you have to be careful. If you experience massive expansion or enormous pressure here (like a balloon expanding fast and pushing out the mind), then stop. Other than that, you want to have a balanced system with no center over activated.
Don’t rush with Chakra Meditations, slow, steady and smart is the best approach.

It is an invitation from beyond to start your meditation and yoga practice… that’s how I see it. The sensation is not uncommon with those who are spiritually inclined. Welcome.

Hi Anmol! Thank you for such a good advise, i`ll follow it and try to reveal my potential at 100 percent! I have a question about meditation, when i`m meditating i must stop my breath? Beacause, when i`ve meditated two–three days ago, suddenly, after 15-25 minutes of meditation, with eyes closed and thoughts wiped out, i`ve noticed that somehow, my eyes were at the same level with my nose, and in the next moment i felt a light, that came from above into my head! That was WOW feeling - calm, peaceful, and other… very good it was, but light as i thinked come down to my head, and after that somehow stopped (or not) at the neck region.
I`ve a question about this, this is good? And how i can advance to the deeper states of meditation?
And if you don`t mind, what happens with me in that state?
All the best,
Andrew

I`m very sorry, but i`ve felt something (pressure in the 3rd eye region) at least 2-3 years ago and this feeling repeats, and nothing bad happens :)
on February 23rd, 2009 at 8:59 pm
1. No don’t stop your breath forcefully, it will though stop (or get very slow) on its own due to the intensity of the meditation.
2. Yes you experienced an opening, it is best to view it as a reward and an inspiration for you to continue on. When ready you can try the Silent Mind Meditation Technique as well.

hello, Anmol
Thanks for sharing all precious info through this wonderful website.
I have a little problem with “opening the third eye chakra meditation”
Whenever I practice this meditation with Sambhavi Mudra even for 5 minutes, I get very angry & irritated within next few minutes. I have tried it so many times but same results all the time. Its not jst my belief but its my experience.
Can you please guide me abt it ?
I would like to tell you bit more that before trying this meditation I had tried soft gazing for this 6 months ago. But I left it as I used to get very angry soon after using that too.
Thank You,
-Bhavin

Visualize the mantra vibrating in the center of the forehead. It is also fine to visualize or feel this mantra vibrating in the brain center (pineal gland region).
Good to hear you are feeling the affects of the mantra.

Greetings,
First off I want to say that this is a great website. Your knowledge and wisdom is greatly appreciated by me and hopefully everyone who reads this.
My main problem with attempting to open my third eye (besides the obvious) is that while looking up my eyes tend to flutter. While I am looking straight however this does not happen. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
My past few sessions I have been attempting to notice the ’screen’ behind my eyelids (in my brain). If I focus intensly enough on this screen I begin to see a little tiny ball which is aqua colored. I try and focus on it as well as I can but it always seems to go away after a few seconds. Is this significant?
While viewing this ’screen’ I have also experienced a blob of color. The first time it was purple, the second time green, and the third time purple. The blob morphs and moves around the screen. I have been able to pay attention to this blob without my mind drifting for up to 20 seconds, but inevitably (hopefully not) it always goes away.
Once again, any insight would be greatly appreciated.
And once again thank you for the wonderful website!

Anmolji,
From today I have started SCK and Om technique by leaving Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom etc and felt tired through out day.
Are these two sufficient without any problem like tiredness?
Harish

It is not unusual to see such colors during Third Eye Meditation. It is considered an indication of the Third Eye activating and opening.
Your eyes might flutter due to muscles not being used to this position. You can try the following eye exercises to strengthen them, which should help.

Glad you are enjoying the website, and thank you for your kind words.

Hi Anmol
Excellent site! What I aim to practise is Kapalbhati and Crown Chakra Meditation. An aim I have is to open my awareness, to have an out of the body experience (maybe via a lucid dream), with the ultimate aim of having some tangible experience that there is more than this reality. I have been meditating a very long time and felt I have not made much progress until recently. I can now go deeper with more clarity. I do Yoga Nidra as a part of my meditation and this has allowed me to go deeper and not fall asleep as I used to. Could you give me any advice on any other techniques you think might be useful for me please? Regards, Julie

PS I think I should also do do the Ajna Chakra Meditation technique? I tried the Crown Chakra Meditation and can only hold my arms up for a minute or so (weak arms). Could I rest my linked hands on the top of my head? Regards, Julie

Hi,
I haven’t practiced much with any type of formal meditation, but I met someone once who told me about the pineal gland and its importance, and suggested that I just concentrate my attention now and then on the place where the pineal gland is located. I do this sometimes, either sitting with my legs crossed or sitting on the edge of my bed. Sometimes, though, when I concentrate acutely, I begin to bend backwards in my back and my neck. I don’t try to do this; it just happens. At first I just let it happen, thinking that it wasn’t important, but sometimes it’s so strong that my neck hurts and I have to stop altogether. (It’s like a rigid tension arching my spine backwards so that my face is pointing straight up). It’s happening more and more often. I don’t know if this is significant, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to stop it, or if it needs to be stopped at all. Is this normal?
By the way, I just found your site and I’m very excited about it; it looks extremely helpful.
Thank you!

[…] Meditation is an invaluable and proven science to optimize health and elevate the quality of one’s life. It not only promotes physical health, but also markedly improves emotional balance and psychological wellbeing. There are many types of meditation and in this article we will explore the popular and powerful Concentration Meditation Technique. Concentration Meditation Techniques: These are probably the most common and well know of all the meditations and often meditation is defined by these kinds of meditations exclusively. They are closely related to the Insight Meditation Techniques, with the difference being that Insight Meditation Techniques utilize the active application of intelligence and discernment, while the Concentration Meditation techniques use the power of focused attention to a greater degree. To some extent these meditations lay the groundwork for the Insight Meditations which need a high degree of concentration as a prerequisite to being effective. 1. Breath Meditation Technique (Zazen): The heart of Zen Meditation is Zazen, the meditation of the Buddha. In this meditation, awareness and concentration are brought to the breathing process to help build mastery over the mind and free the system from dualistic thinking. To practice Zazen one takes a seated posture and then begins to count the flow of one’s breath. Counting each inhalation and exhalation starting from one to ten. So, an inhalation is one, the next exhalation is two, and so forth. When one reaches the count of ten, one returns to one and starts counting again. This helps focus the mind and prevents it from drifting endlessly from one thought to another. As one develops one’s ability to count undistracted from one to ten, one starts to count each breath cycle, instead of the inhalation and exhalation separately. So now one counts an inhalation and exhalation as one, the next complete breath as two and so forth till one reaches ten. After reaching ten, one returns to one and repeats the meditation. In the advanced form of Zazen, one simply becomes the breath. In this form counting is dropped altogether and only keen awareness of the breath is maintained. One should not progress to this level until one has mastered the previous two. Zazen breath meditation helps develop the power of focused concentration and creates a serene, peaceful mind capable of penetrating the veil of dualistic thinking. 2. Another breath based meditation is Vipassana: In Vipassana one extends one’s awareness from one’s breath, to the body and the sensations that rise and fall within it. The objective being to have insight into the workings of the mind through self-observation. This form of meditation is also called Insight Meditation as it helps one develop insight into the true nature of things. 3. Object Concentration Meditation Technique: There are many meditations that utilize an external object as a focus point for the mind. Zazen and Vipassana belong in this sections as well, but due to their widespread use I mentioned them separately. The objects of focus can be anything from a point on the ceiling, to a flower, to external sounds in the environment. These meditations all develop focus, concentration, self knowledge, calmness and the witnessing consciousness. Their ultimate objective, though, is to have the meditator finally drop the object of concentration and encounter the non-dual nature of Reality directly. Some examples of these meditations are Sound Awareness Meditation Technique and candle flame gazing (Trataka). Both these meditation utilize the sense modalities to accomplish the goals of concentration meditation. Summary: So you see from above that there are many types of concentration meditation techniques. This allows one to choose a type that is most suitable for their personality and disposition. The best way to discover the enormous benefits of meditation is to jump in and participate. What are you waiting for? Anmol Mehta is a Yoga & Zen Expert. Hi Anmol,
First of all, this is a great website. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this amazing database!
I’ve spent a good deal of time searching the internet for information primarily on the third eye. So much of what I’ve found is very vague and really nothing like what I’ve experienced. Which makes me feel like either they don’t know what they’re talking about or I am misinterpreting my experiences. That’s why I was very happy to find that I was recognizing much of what was being said here in my own experiences.
When I was four or five I remember clearly asking my Mother why the point between my eyebrows felt funny after I touched it with the tip of my finger. She didn’t understand what I was talking about, thinking that it’s just some child’s fancy. So I showed her. She of course couldn’t feel what I was feeling and when I told her to touch the spot between her eyebrows she had no response.
This continued of course. Whenever I touched that spot I would feel a tingling or pressure for several minutes afterward but I never mentioned it to my Mother again because it wasn’t something we shared. And eventually it wasn’t important to me any longer, I was the only one I knew that that happened to. My friends didn’t get it either.
It wasn’t until my early twenties that I became interested in it again. That is to say, started trying to puzzle out what kind of phenomenon it was. And I saw something on TV that mentioned the third eye and sort of liked the idea of the paranormal application.
Since then, on and off I’ve tried meditating while having the pressure present. During these last three years I’ve been able to “call” up the feeling merely by thinking about it. I can be standing up at work, or lying at home in my bed. And it’s become a kind of source of comfort. I’ve noticed that when I’m stressed or irritated at work, all I need to do is bring back the vibration and the agitation will very quickly subside and I will be at peace.
I guess why I’m writing, (after being so very long-winded, sorry) is that I’m very much interested in what happens now? I feel like I don’t care about some sort of special powers, that’s not what drives me. What drives me is need. But I don’t know what it is that I need. It feels urgent and powerful but I know not its face.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I felt like I just needed to vent a little and if you feel that you have any insight to offer, your feedback would be most welcome.
Best regards,
Rick

Hi, I dont know if this meditation can open the Eye fast, but I opened it by ‘’accident'’ and it sure reacts to the AUM sound.
I’m a buddhist who practices 24/24h (in my dreams too), and been practicing Samadhi and Vipassana, I tried to create a ‘’tiglé'’ for an experience with a friend and then felt like a laser coming out or going in my forehead. Since then my vision has changed, I notice much more things, I see the dust falling (used to but only when concentrated), also I feel more calmer (and I was already really calm before) and I feel like its power is growing day by day, its been only two days since it happened and I’m already awed by its effects.
Its may seem weird, but I feel it as something really, really natural and this ‘’gift'’ has interested me into chakra which I knew nothing about before.
And yes I am gonna do this everyday, in addition to my daily meditations (samadhi, vipassana & toglen), and I’m gonna open the rest of my Chakra to have them balanced.
Another weapon to wield in my Quest for Enlightnement, Glory to the Buddha Shakyamuni and the Bodhisattva, Glory to all Beings in every Space and Time !

hello, i for a fact know that this third eye meditation works because i’ve had some experiences with it… i also know that it lets you see the past, present and the future but i have some questions
1) is there a way to improve the third eye vision? is it good to do that above mentioned meditation daily or is there a better way?
2) can this meditation be used to communicate with humans non verbally? and can it be used as a remote influencing tool?
on March 3rd, 2010 at 3:43 am
I hope I am not spamming, but I just did the meditation as it is shown here. The Eye starts tingling and then you feel as its a pillar of energy coming out of your forehead, between the brows, but just a bit higher. It is always there, and it seems really natural to intensify its power, just like opening your physical eyes or moving your hand, you don’t need to think about it, I also feel a kinda pressure all the time, although nothing disturbing, its just there, all the time.
Also as I’m in my routine of everyday, I’m starting to notice things I’ve never seen before, now I know its my room and I meditated a lot in it, but it seems *different*, everything is different, even people I know.
Very small things are easy to see, and it seems like I notice everything, I know it is not true though, as I have the strong feeling its only the beginning. Another feeling I get all the time, is that although I see with my physical eyes, I have that eerie sense that it is the Third Eye who sees with their support, its not as it was before.
Hope this helps those who are looking for signs that their Eye is opening.
I just want more Wisdom & Compassion, and I don’t care about special effects like psychic powers or supervision. I swore before the Buddha to use it wisely, for what benefit are those powers if they don’t benefit the others ?
on March 4th, 2010 at 10:46 am
Hi, when i concentrate on the ajna centre I feel some sort of vibration between my eyebrows. Its so severe that when i concentrate on that vibration i forget myself. After opening my eyes i feel so blissful, am so confused why it is happening, is that abnormal? or is it a common experience that everyone experience?
