Mastery of Meditation & Yoga is nearing it’s second birthday, which is still quite young in internet years, but it has been growing rapidly this year and just crossed an important milestone for which I owe my thanks to all of you.  This week the website hit 1,000,000 views for the year 2008, which means that the wisdom and benefits of meditation and yoga found it’s way to hundreds of thousands of you.

Role of Humor on the Spiritual Journey

A few weeks ago I was sitting out on my deck and enjoying what I call holistic vision.  Which is when you don’t focus on any one object, but instead take in the whole scenery together, using an unfocused, steady gaze.  Being aware of the space between the objects magnifies the effect of this way of looking and it a meditation all on it’s own (meditation detailed in Brain Development & Enlightenment Part I).

Do Women or Men Practice Yoga More?

A last second surge of female votes allowed them to just edge out the men when it came to the question of who practices yoga more, men or women.

The common understanding that yoga is mostly practiced by women was under serious threat for most of the time this survey was running and in fact at one time the men had a comfortable double digit lead as well.  But, it did not hold up as we came down the stretch and finally the women won the survey by a meager 2 votes.
