Yes, I have gone to many yoga classes over the years and it is mostly women. However… since I moved to San Francisco, two years ago, the classes here seem to be a 50/50 mix of males and females in most classes.

The classes that I attend are generally 50/50 as well. Also, I seem to attend more classes taught by men than women. This is in the Los Angeles area.

I do the kundalini yoga DVD taught by Gurmukh. I haven’t taken a live class in a long time but when I did there were more women.

It was close for a while, but finally yes it was more women to men by about 4-5%.
