Meditation, Yoga & Spiritual Growth Carnival – Edition #28

Welcome to the 28th edition of the Meditation, Yoga and Spiritual Growth carnival.

There were way too many submissions for this issue of the carnival (almost 70!).  Unfortunately, many writers submitted more than one entry, despite my request to them not to, and many others just sent unrelated or low quality articles, hoping to get a link from Mastery of Meditation & Yoga, due to it’s high traffic and high Google Page Rank.  So I had to reject quite of few of the submissions and hope writers will be more conscientious next time, but if not, there is always the delete button .  Well, the final version, containing the top self improvement and spiritual growth blogs, is ready below and I hope you do enjoy some of the great articles that it does include.

I was happy though that this edition got more Yoga related articles than are normally submitted, and I hope this indicates a trend for the future as well.  In addition, there is lots of great stuff on meditation, health, law of attraction, positive thinking, mind power, self improvement, happiness, diet, etc...

For my fellow active stumblers if you are interested in networking on Stumble Upon, please go ahead and reach out to me.  My stumble upon id is http://anmolmehta.stumbleupon.com.

Please link back to this carnival from your Blog, as well as submit the carnival to your favorite social bookmarking sites (Stumble Upon is preferred).  More link love the better for everyone :-).

    Sunil Mehta Says:

I appreciate involvement of people in the field of spiritualism & meditation. The route to actual meditation involves involvement of senses because these are the only tools for human beings to start with. Hence any technique or process such as pranayama, hatha yoga, gnana yoga, bhakti yoga, nama yoga or karma yoga deal with senses primarily. Only with senses getting dormant (either by exhaustion or reaching its culmination point) in this process, consciousness swaps and become forefront and the endeavour ends. This will be the last human endeavour by human being, and everything that follows is auto stage and part of consciouness and super consciousness living.

The purpose of conveying is this that one can choose either a level of above mentioned activities so that there are strong possibilities of going beyond senses and experience satori (initial bliss) or one can simply understand fundamentals of meditation (most important) and senses and sit for meditation every day and experience the same bliss.

Only if people look forward for stimulations and excitement and processes, then one needs to really understand Meditation.

Understanding Meditation is most fundamental process for each.

    It is individual choice.

This is an amazing and very extensive carnival. I’m honored to be a part of it. I appreciate it a lot. There are so many good posts in here, I’m glad you decided to go through with it despite the many desperate attempts at getting more than one article submitted. I really enjoy this site, keep up the good work!

Thanks for doing this – and including my post! I know what you mean about people submitting unrelated articles – I started a carnival but had to abandon it because none of the submissions were on topic! (intuition) – so thanks for persisting.
    Cheers – Robin (letsliveforever)
