Relaxing Ocean Meditation

Relaxing Meditation

(Anmol: Here is a guest post from Kristi Nimmo, who completed the Mastery of Meditation Teacher’s Certification Program, and has profound and unique insights into meditation and spirituality.  To learn more about her and the meditation techniques she teaches, visit her website A Stone Speaks – Inspired Meditations

If you would like to be a guest author on Master of Meditation and Yoga, please email me at anmol@anmolmehta.com).

I Hear the Ocean – A Relaxing Ocean Meditation

The ocean is a place of great mystery and beauty and healing.  One does not need to live near large bodies of water to benefit from their power to change and ease day-to-day stresses.  I would like to describe a simple meditation for those who enjoy the transformational sounds of the ocean. During this practice, you will primarily engage the sense of hearing, but you may also be seeing in your inner mind the movement of the waves.

Ocean Meditation

Sit or stand or recline in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Imagine that you are standing or are seated near an ocean.  With each in breath through the nostrils, you hear the ocean.  With each out breath through the nostrils, you hear the ocean.  Put your hands over your ears for a little while.  This will help you to hear the ocean in the in breath and hear the ocean in the out breath. You may put your hands down at any time and rest them as you like.  At first, it may seem that the sound of the breath is like the ocean.  Gently lose yourself in the breath and allow the breath to transform into the sound of the ocean.  There is no comparison of breath to ocean.  It just is the ocean sound.

If other sounds spontaneously become part of this soundscape, it is fine – seagulls, people laughing, a boat, or noises in your meditation environment.  Two minutes is a good amount of time for this practice.

Benefits of Ocean Meditation

Personally, I have found that this practice heightens my intuitive senses, particularly hearing. It has helped me to listen more openly to others express themselves. It gives to me a soothing feeling of expansion in the heart region and encourages familiarity with peaceful and relaxing sensations.  Next time you have a reaction to something, try a couple of minutes of ocean-sound breathing. I hope that this meditation is helpful to you.

Kristi Nimmo can be reached at engkkn@gmail.com or astonespeaks.com.  She is a painter, writer, and meditation teacher. She is a graduate of the Mastery of Meditation Teacher’s Certification program.

More Meditations for Relaxation:

If you enjoy this ocean meditation, you will want to explore the following 3 meditations as well.  They are great for relaxation, increasing your intuitive powers and bringing you peace and joy.

3 Minute Meditations for Fast Relaxation

Fast Meditations

Meditations for Quick Relaxation

Research has shown that in just 3 minutes meditation can help reduce stress and change the inner chemistry of the body to a healthier, more relaxed state.  So all those excuses regarding how busy you are and how little time you have can now be thrown out the window :-).  All you need in order to dissolve physical, emotional and mental tension is just 3 minutes of meditation.

Normally, I always suggest to meditate early in the morning, when the mind is fresh, or before going to sleep, after the day’s hustle and bustle is done, but in this case I suggest doing the 3 minute meditation right in the middle of the day or if you are facing a stressful situation.  This is so  the meditation can help immediately neutralize the harmful stress hormones and put you back in a relaxed, peaceful state of mind.

Meditation

The 2 kinds of meditation I would suggest for this quick fix are below.  Try either one and see which suits you best.  They come from different schools of thought, and use different approaches, but are both pretty handy.

Be sure to check out the rest of the articles in this series below, which are also clever yoga, meditation and pranayama tips and techniques for busy people.

Each title is a link.  Click that title to visit the article for all the details about the technique.

Kundalini Yoga Meditation for Relaxation:

For this meditation.  Sit up straight and bring your hands into namaste pose, keeping a small gap between the thumbs and keep the palms slightly cupped.  Then inhale deeply and blow out gently aiming at the gap between your thumbs, thus allowing the cool air to fill the region between your palms and circulate there.  Keep your eyes 1/10th open looking down during this meditation and keep you mind on your breath and the cool sensation when blowing into your palms.

This meditation is sure to relax you rapidly.  Continue to do it for 3 minutes.  Here is a video demonstration of this technique as well…

Breath Awareness Meditation for Relaxation:

This is probably the most used technique for generating quick relaxation and this was the technique used in the studies which measured the reduction of stress hormones as well.

For this meditation, simply sit up straight, close your eyes and bring your attention to your breathing.  If thoughts arise, just see them as thoughts only and let them go without getting involved, and return your attention to your breath.  Continue this simple method for 3  minutes.  It will greatly calm your mind and relax all your energies.

Here is a video of this technique, including a count, which is very helpful if you plan to do the technique for longer periods.

Best Kundalini Yoga Meditation Video | Kirtan Kriya

Best Kundalini Yoga Meditation

Best Meditation Video

Kundalini Yoga has a huge number of excellent meditations, but from all these meditations, 2 are generally considered the best and most powerful.  These 2 are Sodarshan Chakra Kriya, which is detailed in the article Most Powerful Yoga Pranayama and Kirtan Kriya, detailed in the article Kundalini Yoga Highest Meditation.  For Sodarshan Chakra Kriya, I already have a video uploaded, but today I am happy to present to you a video of Kirtan Kriya.

This is the first video of the 2011 Free Online Yoga and Meditation Video Series and I am glad to kick off this set with such a profound and effective meditation technique.  Many more videos are coming online soon, so be on the lookout for those each week.

Kirtan Kriya

This video will become part of the Free Meditation Videos Collection here on Mastery of Meditation and Yoga.  It will also become part of the mutli-media Guided Meditation Techniques E-book, which has chapters that include videos for different meditations.  Other Kundalini Yoga Meditations for which you will also find videos include: Sat Kriya – Tantric Technique to Raise Sexual Energy, Wealth and Prosperity Meditation TechniqueMeditation for Relaxation, Sodarshan Chakra Kriya, mentioned above, and many others will be coming online shortly.

Kundalini Yoga Meditation Details:

As usual, in the video I will concentrate on giving a demonstration of the meditation, as most of the other details are in the chapter article already.  As Kirtan Kriya is quite involved and has many components, I think the video instruction will help make it more clear as to how to do this meditation correctly.  Below are some details as to what the video contains.

Kundalini Yoga Kirtan Kriya Mudras:

Mudras are hand, eye and body positions which complete certain circuits in the body to create a particular flow of energy.  By creating these flows, particular states of consciousness are invoked.  For this meditation, 4 different mudras are created in succession, while chanting the mantra.  How to pace this process is shown in the video.

Mantra Used for this Meditation:

The seed mantra SA TA NA MA is used for Kirtan Kriya.  This is where I feel an MP3 or video is particularly useful, as you can hear exactly how the mantra sounds are to be pronounced.  In this meditation, the mantra plays a big role, as it is chanted aloud, in a whisper and silently.  All this is demonstrated in the video.

Chakra Visualization for Kirtan Kriya:

As this meditation also involves visualizing the flow of the mantra thorough the chakras.  I explain how to go about doing this in the video.

Kirtan Kriya Meditation Technique Video Contents:

  • The video gives a brief overview of one of the best Kundalini Yoga meditations, Kirtan Kriya.
  • It gives a step-by-step demonstration of the yoga mudras, mantra and visualization to be used for this meditation.
  • It guides you through practicing the technique.
  • It discusses the benefits of this meditation, along with other details about the technique.

For Yoga Teacher’s Training and Certification Program Students:

For those enrolled in my Mastery of Yoga Teacher’s Training and Certification Program, this video will be automatically added to the original article on Kirtan Kriya, which is the meditation to be practiced in Week 6 of your syllabus.  As the Yoga Teacher’s Training E-manual has links to each article, the new video will be automatically available to you in the Kirtan Kriya article now as well.  For anyone interested in getting a Yoga Teacher’s Certification, please visit either of the 2 links below:

De Stress – Online Course #109

If there was one thing you could do, which would dramatically improve your mental and physical health and well-being it would be to de-stress.  Stress is without a doubt the leading cause of disease and illness in the world and given our fast paced, me oriented, goal driven, hyper competitive society, I can only seeing this problem getting worse.

The course is designed to help you profoundly relax and help the body release stress and let go of worries and anxieties.  Try this program for 2 weeks to feel the benefits.  Each day do the following…

Section 1: Breathing Exercises Section (Pranayama):  Total time 5-10 minutes

  • Anuloma Viloma Pranayama | Alternate Nostril Breathing: This is an excellent technique to not just promote inner peace and tranquility, but also to create profound harmony and balance within.  This technique is also known to reduce blood pressure and is one of the most popular yoga breathing exercises on the planet.  Starting your program with this technique, will put you well on your way to reducing stress and relaxing your mind.

Section 2: Yoga for Stress Relief Set:  Total time 5-20 minutes

  • Best Yoga Poses for Stress Relief Set:  The 5 poses that make up this set are specially designed to help the body cope with stress.  Please note this set has a few difficult poses, for which modifications have also please provided, so please don’t stress , and use the modifications until you are able to do the complete postures.

Section 3: Yoga Meditation Section:  Total time 5-60 minutes

  • Yogic Breathing as Relaxation Meditation:  After completing the Stress Relief Yoga Set lie back in Corpse Pose and start Yogic Breathing.  Just relax completely during this phase and completely let your worries and anxieties go.  Just let go of everything and put your faith in Life to heal and nourish you.  This technique is the best way to attain deep relaxation.  It is used by yoga therapy extensively to help reduce blood pressure, reduce anxiety and bring about self healing.  Do not underestimate the power of this method.  It is a proven way to relax and de stress, so use it whenever you need. You will also notice that this technique can be done for 1 hour if necessary.  The amount of time depends on how much you are suffering and how badly you need to de stress, but at least 5 minutes should be devoted to this technique.  I assure you it will be well worth the time.

Yoga and Meditation Stress Management Program Participation Guidelines

Following are the guidelines which I suggest we follow…

  • Please post all comments, questions and feedback in the comments section of this post.  This way all will benefit from the discussion.  Feel free to ask questions or discuss issues, as that is one of the main reasons for this particular class format.  Of course, you are free to email me as well if you would like the discussion to not be public.
  • If you like, you can indicate with a comment that you have completed your daily session.  Could be as short as “did it”, or of course could be questions, issues or more detailed feedback.  The hardest part with a daily yoga and exercise practice is establishing consistency and regularity and I think having to acknowledge that you completed your daily practice will help in facilitating that.  In addition, your comments will inspire others as well.
  • Before starting your daily yoga session, take a moment and tune in to your higher self for guidance and protection.  At the end of every session, visualize yourself and the world as you would like it to be.
  • Do the best you can and modify the techniques as required.  It is more important to do something, than be overwhelmed and not do anything at all.
  • I wish you all a wonderful learning and transforming experience and hope this program really helps you de stress and find peace.
  • Below, in the related articles and series sections you will find other free yoga and meditation classes; feel free to take advantage of them.
  • If you are interested in a more structured and fully supported yoga program you may wish to sign up for my popular Learn Yoga Online Course.

Sean T. Everett is the founder of Enso Meditation Society as well as the lead instructor at the Enso Meditation center.  Beginning the practice of meditation at the age of 3, when taught by his father, the practice of awareness of breath, he is more than experienced in the meditative arts.  Thirsty for more knowledge of these great techniques, Sean set out to find a qualified teacher.  Finding Geshe Jampel Thardo a Tibetan Buddhist monk sent to the United States by H.H. the Fourteenth Dalai Lama to teach the dharma.  Geshe Thardo proved to be a greatly compassionate person and held more wisdom than the salt in the ocean, this match was meant to be.  Learning a staggering amount in a matter of a several years under his teacher’s direction Sean was ordained a Buddhist by Geshe Thardo in the Gelug-pa tradition.  Several years later Geshe Thardo passed away causing Sean to have to make serious decisions about where the path would lead next.  Giving this gift to others was the only sensible choice.  Now at Enso Meditation Society, Sean wishes to start a new type of living standard for all to live by.  By bringing clear compassionate non-judgmental awareness to our everyday activities slowly we can cultivate happier minds.  Happier minds makes happier people, happier people makes happier families, happier families makes happier communities, and happier communities can make a happier world.  Enso Meditation Society is non sectarian multi-denominational group.  All are welcome!

Daily Meditation Practice For February | Find Joy, Peace and Happiness

Daily Meditation Practice

Meditations for Spiritual Practice

As part of the expansion to the “Yoga Asana for the Month Series”, I mentioned we are now also going to include a Daily Meditation for the Month and a Yoga Breathing Exercise for the month.  In the article, Daily Yoga Exercise for February, I suggested we all include Cobra Pose into our routine and in this article today, I will suggest a great meditation technique for our daily spiritual work for February.

For those unfamiliar with this “Yoga and Meditation Technique for the Month” series, essentially, the idea is for all of us to include some great exercises and techniques into our daily practice and then to report back our thoughts and feedback regarding them throughout the month.  The goal is to learn from each other, develop our ability to do these techniques better and enjoy the benefits that daily practice brings.

Meditations for Spiritual Practice

Below are all the Yoga exercises we have done together so far and now we will be adding meditations and pranayamas to this list as well.

August:        Learn Yoga | Nauk Asana for the Month (Abs)

September:  Yoga Pose for Thighs – Frog Pose (Thighs/Butt)

October:      Important Hatha Yoga Posture for Healing – Forward Bend (Thighs/Buttocks)

November:   Yoga to Work on Your Aura (Aura and Magnetic Field)

December:   Kundalini Yoga Exercise for Emotional Health – Cat-Cow  (Back and Emotional Balance)

February Yoga:  Yoga Cobra Pose for Everyday Practice | Heal Your Back

Daily Meditation for February:

Originally I was thinking of starting out this new dimension with one of the most popular meditations on the planet today, Zen Meditation Technique, but I have instead decided to go with So Hum Mantra Meditation.  This is primarily because I have been getting a lot of great feedback regarding this meditation and also, since this meditation is excellent for promoting joy and peace, I thought we could use some more of that during these challenging times .

So the meditation for daily practice for February is going to be So Hum Mantra Meditation.  Below are the links you need for this technique and some thoughts on it.

Benefits of Daily Meditation Practice:

Here is the link to the chapter with all the details on So Hum Meditation: SO HUM MANTRA MEDITATION TECHNIQUE.  A great deal of scientific research has been done on Mantra Meditations and I have listed some of the highlights of this research in the article Health Benefits of Meditation.  In case you need some motivation here are some of the incredible findings…

  • Significant reduction in anxiety and stress.  Verified by changes in brain activity centers.
  • 200% increase in blood flow to the brain region, and significant reduction in blood pressure and cholesterol.
  • 50% less doctor visits. 55% fewer tumors and reduction in infectious diseases as well.
  • Reduction in Chronic Pain, 75% improvement with Insomnia and Increased Intelligence, Awareness and Concentration.
  • There are many more benefits listed in that article and also in the article Top 10 Benefits of Meditation, so head on over if you still need more motivation .

So Hum Meditation Video for Daily Practice:

The chapter I linked to above has all the details including a video demonstration of So Hum.  For convenience I have included this video below as well.  Please note if you ever have problems viewing the meditation videos from the blog, you can view them directly from my YouTube channel.  Also, if you want to be notified whenever I publish a new video you can subscribe to my YouTube channel, as I upload all my videos there.

5 Powerful Healing Meditations

Meditations for Healing

Meditation for Health

In part 1 of this series on Meditations for Healing I compiled a big list of the health benefits of meditation as proven by recent scientific research.  This list, although not comprehensive, should be ample fuel to motivate and inspire you to start using meditation as a serious tool for optimizing your health and supplementing any treatment plan.  In this final part of the series, I am going to point out some of the wonderful meditations that are freely available on the website already, which are highly reputed for their curing and healing powers.

Healing Meditations

The meditations I will detail below come from various spiritual traditions and as they use different mechanisms to work their magic, feel free to choose the type that is suitable for you.  This is an important aspect of meditation practice, as certain personality types prefer certain types of meditation.  Some prefer the intensity of silent, still meditation, while others enjoy mantra meditations, while others will like more physical meditations.  So find one that you enjoy and commit to it seriously.  Your body, mind and soul will be forever grateful.

Healing Meditation #1:

Zen Meditation Technique

One of the meditations most used by the scientific community for their research on the healing and other benefits of meditation is the simple Breath Awareness Meditation, or Zen Meditation Technique.  This meditation is formally know as Zazen and is pretty much the face of meditation.  As I have mentioned on the blog previously, this meditation forms the foundation of my practice as well, as it is the starting point for the more advanced insight meditation technique that I practice (Silent Mind Meditation).

For healing, health and that little thing called enlightenment, Zen Meditation is my first recommendation to everyone who is interested in meditation.  It certainly deserves a sincere attempt, as it has been a proven champion for thousands of years.  This meditation is excellent for stress reduction and it will create the correct mental and physical environment for self healing to take place.  In addition, all the other benefits besides health are also within reach of this meditation.

Healing Meditation #2:

So Hum Mantra Meditation

The second meditation and one that has been equally well researched for it’s healing and other prowess is Mantra Meditation.  In this technique, you repeat a mantra and use it to develop concentration, one pointedness of the mind, inner awareness and transcendence.  A terrific mantra for doing this is So Hum Mantra meditation, although other mantra meditations will be just as good.

So Hum mantra meditation is one of the most prescribed meditations for fighting depression and is known to invoke inner joy and happiness.  It is also an excellent meditation for dissolving stress and like any other meditation technique, So Hum also creates the optimum conditions for the body to heal itself.  Below is more on the concept of Self Healing.

The Concept of Self Healing:

This concept of Self Healing is very important when it comes to alternative medicine and getting healthy in general.  The thing to keep in mind here is that the body has a blue print of ideal health and will always try to return back to that state naturally.  Your responsibility is to work with the body in accomplishing this, and especially important, is not being a hindrance to this process.  This is where meditation comes into play in a big way.  It helps create the conditions which maximize the work the body can do towards accomplishing self healing.  Always keep this in mind when you are dealing with disruptions to your health.  Work with the body to help it heal itself.  It can do it, you have to believe and let it.

Healing Meditation/Prayer #3:

Mahamritunjay Mantra of Lord Shiva

Along with So Hum Mantra meditation, I also want to point out another mantra meditation which is designed specifically for health, healing and longevity and that is the Mahamritunjay Mantra of Lord Shiva.  This mantra has been used for centuries for healing and it is used most often as a form of prayer meditation.  The power of faith based healing and the role of prayer in healing are also fast becoming part of accepted treatment processes, and towards that end, Mahamritunjay Mantra is a great tool to have at your disposal.

All the details for this mantra, including free MP3 downloads can be found in the linked article above.

Meditation for Healing #4:

Doei Ashtapad Jap (The Healing Meditation)

The next meditation I want to mention is actually known as a Healing Meditation and it comes from the powerful school of Kundalini Yoga.  It is known not just for helping you heal your ailments, but is also known for it’s ability to bestow the great power to heal others onto you.  In other words, the power of healing others via your energy is bestowed by this great meditation.

This meditation uses the power of mantra, mudra (hand/eye/body positions) and breathing to heal and help you develop your healing powers.  These details are in the article link above, but one note I would like to make is that when you first start learning this meditation, it is ok to use 8 repetitions per breath cycle instead of the 16 as required by the full version.

Healing Meditation #5:

Yogic Relaxation Technique

Recently I met an Ayurvedic doctor at a small gathering of holistic practitioners and she confirmed what I too have noticed in today’s world, that stress is about 70% responsible for all the health problems that we are suffering with today.  This is the reason why I feel the following Yogic Relaxation Technique makes the list of the top 5 healing meditations.  The simplicity of this pose should not fool you.  Many readers have given me feedback on how helpful this exercise has been for them, and it should be the ending exercise for any yoga set or session.

It is simply called Yoga Corpse Pose, but there are several ways to use this pose as I have detailed in the article link above.  Here I want to give you an additional variation you can use which is specifically for healing.  In this variation follow all the steps given in the “Corpse Pose for Conscious Relaxation and Stress Relief” section, and then at the end, when you are completely relaxed, visualize either white light entering and healing the area in need for treatment, or visualize the disease process leaving your system with each exhalation.  Don’t underestimate the power of your mind when it comes to healing, and really have faith that the body can indeed heal itself.

Meditations for Healing Summary:

The healing meditations, prayers and yoga exercises I described above are of course a subset of the techniques that are freely available here on Mastery of Meditation and Yoga, and you can find other such techniques in the Free Online Meditation Techniques e-book and the Free Kundalini Yoga Exercises and Poses e-book.  Also, I will by compiling for you in the near future the best yoga breathing exercises for health and healing, and also some more yoga exercises which are known for their healing powers, so be on the lookout for those.

For more information on self healing be sure to check out the articles below, and just to make sure I have driven the point home through and though, here again is my plea to you.  Start your journey back to good health today, by starting your meditation practice now!

Best Treatments for Stress and Anxiety Disorder

Stress and Anxiety Disorders

Treatments for Stress and Anxiety

Looking to reduce stress and treat your anxiety disorder?  Well you could not have come to a better place for doing just that .   A large study just completed at the University of West Virginia concluded that one of the best treatment for treating stress and anxiety is the combination of meditation, yoga and breathing exercises!  They might as well have just said, that the best treatment for stress and anxiety is to regularly visit Mastery of Meditation & Yoga and practice the free techniques that are available there .

Specifically, the study looked at how effective mindfulness (being in the present) was to the reduction of everyday and workplace stress.  In doing so, the research also looked at which were the best techniques for cultivating such mindfulness and found that answer to be, meditation, yoga and breathing exercises.  The research showed that living mindfully, and using these techniques, drastically helped reduce stress, and cure anxiety problems as well.  Here are some of the amazing health benefits reported by the research.

Stress and Anxiety Disorder

Stress, Anxiety and More Treated by Mindfulness Technique:

  • Reduced Stress
  • Treated Anxiety Disorder
  • Improved functioning of Internal Systems (Digestive, Immune, Nervous, etc) and better overall health
  • Reduced Blood Pressure
  • Spontaneously cured physical disorders
  • Better Pain Management
  • Relaxed & Calmed the mind
  • Led to higher levels of happiness and peace

How Stress & Anxiety Were Treated:

In this study the participants were required to practice and learn mindfulness techniques and incorporate them into their life for a period of eight weeks.  This is of course not the first study into the health benefits of meditation and yoga, and also, we know that the benefits of these sciences extends far beyond just the treatment of stress and anxiety.  Two articles right here on the website detail other research that have also indicated the marvelous benefits of these sciences (Brain Health Benefits of Meditation and Amazing Benefits of Meditation for Young People & Students).  To enjoy such benefits, it is necessary to learn and practice these techniques though and a 2 month period is a pretty good time frame for that.

Above I mentioned that this website is full of techniques which will help you develop exactly what the research indicated to treat stress and help with anxiety disorders, so let me point out the best of these techniques for you now.

Best Meditation Technique to Treat Stress & Anxiety:

At the heart of mindful living lies the practice of meditation, and the very best meditation to develop mindfulness is Zen Meditation.  Mindfulness comes from the teaching of the Buddha, and this is Buddha’s meditation.  So to drastically reduce stress and fight anxiety, establish a 20 minute daily practice of this meditation.  In fact, for the purpose of anxiety and stress reduction, treat meditation like a therapy, for that is exactly what it is if you are suffering from these disorders.  And just as you would not skip an important treatment for a disease you are inflicted with, similarly, don’t skip your meditation therapy session either .

Here is a detailed article which will teach you this technique and has a video instructions and demonstrations as well.

Zen Meditation for Treating Stress & Anxiety Disorder

Best Breathing Exercise for Treating Stress & Anxiety:

Breathing techniques are wonderful therapies for treating stress and anxiety as well, and the one technique that has been known through the ages to help with these 2 disorders is Alternate Nostril Breathing.  So if you are really serious about reducing stress in your life, and eliminating all it’s harmful affects, include this technique into your treatment program is a must.  In addition, you will find a drastic reduction is anxiety as well, with the small added bonus of significant spiritual growth .

Here is a video instruction and demonstration of this technique along with details on how to practice it safely and effectively.

Best Yoga Pose for Reducing Stress & Anxiety:

In the Beginner’s Guide to Yoga Practice, I stressed the importance of awareness when doing your practice, and this awareness is key to building mindfulness and the ability to live in the present.  So in general, all yoga done correctly is going to be good for you, but I want to point out a few poses that I feel will be especially effective for stress and anxiety reduction.

The titles are links to the articles which have the details you need.

1. Corpse Pose for Relaxation & Stress Reduction:

Of course, corpse pose is yoga’s answer to stress and anxiety.  It is an excellent pose with which to relax the entire mind/body complex and dissolve stress from your system.  The ability of this pose to generate tranquility, calmness and relaxation for the mind and body are unsurpassed.  So certainly include this exercise into your treatment program.  It can be done individually, or as part of a set.

2. Relaxation Meditation for Immediate Stress Reduction:

Another great technique for immediate stress reduction comes from the school of Kundalini Yoga and is called Relaxation Meditation Technique.  This is a simple and effective treatment to help you deal with anxiety, panic attacks and stress.  The article includes a video demonstration of this neat little technique.

Here is the video for this Relaxation Meditation Technique:

Treating Stress & Anxiety Disorders Summary:

The research showed that the combination of meditation, yoga and breathing were a great combination to help you reduce stress and anxiety from your life, by cultivating mindfulness.  There 3 sciences are the building blocks for the free online classes offered here on this website.  So if you are serious about eliminating stress and reducing anxiety, then I strongly recommend taking these classes.  After all, they are free and they will do a lot more for you as well.

Of all the classes that are available, I feel the following 3 will be great as treatments for these difficult disorders.
