    Hi Rohan,

    Yes every little bit will help. If can build up a consistent practice, even if it’s just 20 mins it will be very beneficial.

    Usually doing a few pranayamas is a good practice.

    Yes daily practice of meditation is recommended.

    Yes Anuloma Viloma pranayama is very powerful and will open the Third eye and awaken Kundalini. I don’t suggest doing just this pranayama, but instead making sure you have a physical aspect as well, so that the body and systems can handle the energy unleashed by this exercise.

    hi,
    i was wondering if doing one breathing meditation for a period of less than 20 min on average every few days enough to eventually gain some spiritual experience or physical result out of it? should one experiment with only one meditation tehnique at a time and use it only or should one use a wide array of techniques? if one keeps ones gains from meditation, is daily practise still important? cant one do it whenever and however one wants too? too be very specific was wondering if the alternate nostril breathing technique is enough to eventually open or activate the third eye?

    Glad you are enjoying Mastery of Meditation & Yoga. Try the following pranayamas, and do them without any straining. Build up slowly and gently.

    Anuloma Viloma Pranayama

    4 Part Breathing for Vitality

    Let me know your progress and we will take it from there. Again, no straining — most important.

    Hello sir,

    I really got inspired by your videos and information about Pranayam. I just visited your website today and am really enjoyed reading and watching the information.

    I am really interested in doing the pranayam exercises, but the problem is that I was suffering from fissures a couple months back and I have an experience that whenever I start any exercise like, jogging or general pushups or warmup exercises(I haven’t tried Pranayam yet) the fissures recur. I am having homeopathic medication on it and the fissures are healing gradually. Can you kindly suggest me that should I start with the pranayama exercises in this condition? And if your answer is yes what precautions should I take?

    For high blood pressure I suggest starting with pranayama, meditation and a gentle yoga practice. The following course has the right pranyamas and meditations to help your condition…

    It’s wonderful you have a resource for people seeking yoga websites and information, it truly is what is needed to help sort through all the websites that are less than quality.
    I see you don’t have yogatoday.com listed, and I have found it to be an excellent site for free classes that are quality and professional. They now offer free podcasts as well, and offer several styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Vinyasa flow. I think you really should consider listing them as one of your recommended sites!

    we were in 9th grade English w/ Mr. Dingle, and now here we are a quarter century or so later!
    I’d like to call your attn to the work of spiritual master/teacher/activist Andrew Cohen, if you’re not already familiar w/ his work. his path is called “evolutionary enlightenment”. i recognize it to be radically authentic and the most empowering, transforming perspective that i’m aware of at this point in human history. i highly encourage committed seekers to see if the evolutionary enlightenment perspective put forth by Andrew Cohen makes integral, unifying sense.     Hi Lindy,

    Welcome to the world of Tantra :-D. Yes sexual energy is certainly revered because it can be used for both the building of the physical body, but can also be used for spiritual growth.

    Such spontaneous occurrences, such as your partners, are sometimes reported. My suggestion is for him to ensure he builds his systems to handle the energy that is now coursing through him. This is important so that it does not do damage to his body.

    For you, it is important to remember that we are all on our unique trajectories to enlightenment and our pathways are our very own. I would not recommend you trying to duplicate his experiences, but instead to begin a meditation, kundalini yoga and tantra yoga practice of your own, and see what miracles happen for you.

    You can use the free online courses on this website if you like.

    Dear Anmol,
    I am writing from Melbourne Australia after visiting your site and have a coupe of questions I hope you are in a position to answer for me.
    I would very much like to gain access to a forum / site where I can discuss the recent happenings I have witnessed in my partner. Neither of us knew anything about TANTRA and had only shared maybe 5 sexual encounters prior to my partner experiencing the most amazing sensations that can only be likened to all that is written about Tantra.
    I myself have not been as fortunate as him in that I am still trying to make the connection that he has so luckily been able to grasp without instruction. He has managed to rise from the first experience of having incredibly strong tingling in his head, hands and belly to now (after about 8 episodes later) to being able to bring on the “Tantric” feeling, harness it, build it, and circulate it throughout his whole body. The latest episode found him in such a state of euphoria that he sat up cupped both hands around what seemed to be a ball and said the energy within this sphere was so unbelievable that he felt he could round it off, lift it and throw it like a fireball. He said he felt so engulfed by this incredible feeling of being sooo able….. almost like he could move an object in the room just by concentrating this energy on it. I have watched his body wave with what seems to be the deepest pleasure for over an hour at a time. I have always read that these sorts of experiences can only be attained after years of devotion and study.
    Nothing like this has ever happend to either of us before and we cannot really tell anybody as this sort of information second hand really loses it beauty and significance when it has never been experienced first hand.
    All the sites we have come across only really describe the overall benefits of mutual exchange between male and female but never really describe in detail the actual sensations in basic terms.
    We would love to be able to exchange our experiences with other people and hear some of their stories as this is so new to us; likewise we would love to know what sort of heights you can reach and what other experiences are possible.
    I would also love to be able to share in this amazing experience with the man I love but am having trouble getting there which is so frustrating when he seems to have found it second nature. I want to embrace it so much and think it is one of the most incredible things I have ever witnessed but fear I will never be able to. I am not sure it is something I could do in a class with other people or with another person I dont know.
    Do you have any recommendations on what might be the best way for me to progress successfully?
    I would love to receive your feedback if you have the opportunity and appreciate your time.

    Remember you are an infinite being, just embodying a human body.

    Although it is difficult to increase height after this age, you can practice the following asanas to help.

    Bow Pose
    Cobra Pose
    Head to Toe

    Also, practice the 2 poses for balance in this 2 part series (yoga pose for balance & tree pose).

    Basic Yoga Poses for Balance

    Also follow a healthy diet and practice visualization meditation, where you visualize your body the way you would like it to be.

    Hi Pooja,

    You are already on the right track if you are following a kapha reducing Ayurvedic Diet. Here is another article with helpful tips from Ayurveda for Weight Loss.

    I suggest the Weight Loss Yoga Set for sure, but also suggest aerobic exercise, specially the elliptical trainer if you have access to one.

    I am 21 and only 4′ 11”. I was wondering if there are any asanas in Yoga for increasing the length of the spine and fibia/tibula bones for increase in height. Please suggest all asanas that may help improve my height. Also if you could please suggest any ayurveda medicines for the same i would be very grateful.     Hi my name is Pooja.I just stumbled on some of ur clips on you tube and i liked them very much and hence i went to ur website.I must say that your website is filled with vast information
    I just hope if u can help me.
    I have a problem of very very heavy thighs. my whole body is ok except i have lots and lots of fat stored on my thigh area and there seems to be no way i can keep them off me.i have like two mountains on the sides of my Iegs.I have struggled a lot since the time i was 17 and now i am 40.Still living with the hope that one day i shall see myself with a normal body shape.i am on an ayurvedic diet no rubbish goes in.
    i walk regularly and have tried power yoga but all i could do till now is just stop them from further increasing.
    Please help me.
