Kundalini Yoga Spinal Warm-up Series Video
I am very happy to announce the launch of our Free Online Yoga Video series. To kick off this important addition to the Mastery of Meditation website, is a video of the famous Kundalini Yoga Spinal Warm-up Series.
This kundalini yoga kriya has been extensively described in the article Spinal Warm-up Kundalini Yoga Exercises, which is also the first chapter of the Online Kundalini Yoga Kriyas E-Book. This is an excellent set for beginner yogis, and for those doing advanced practice, this set is perhaps the best yoga set to warm-up with. This set is also part of the Introduction to Meditation & Kundalini Yoga Online Class.
Here are some of the terrific benefits that this set bestows:
- One of the best set of yoga exercises to warm up the entire back and spine.
- Charges the cerebrospinal fluid that runs through the spinal cord. This is essential for the transport of kundalini energy and prana throughout the system, which in turn opens and activates that chakras.
- Excellent set to massage the internal organs, thus helps to detoxify and eliminate toxins and waste.
- Greatly improves the digestive system.
- Helps the elimination system and makes one regular.
- Purges the system of accumulated emotional debris, thus helps in opening up the energy pathways by dissolving these blockages and helps bestow emotional balance.
- Improves blood flow to the brain to help nourish and rejuvenate this most important organ.
- Helps dissolve tensions and stress in the shoulders, neck and upper back.
- Best set to strengthen the lumbar spine and also helps trim the waistline.

After 5 years of constant shoulder and headache pain due to a shoulder tear then repair surgery in 2006 the doctors can find nothing “wrong” with me but each day I become weaker in my shoulder area. A friend recommended Yoga. I found your videos and have begun your warm up exercises. Where do I go from here? I feel that with your videos I may be able to overcome this constant stiffness and pain. I already feel less tight after only 3 days of warm up! Thank you for this.
I’m dying to study and practice Yoga because I’ve already watched your videos and they inspire me very much. However, I don’t know what I should do first… Could you tell me how to start? Thanks so much if you can do!
Great and helpful video. Very well written and informative article too. Thanks!
I feel great just after that warm up. My back does not hurt any more. I am very grateful. I can not wait to learn more techniques. Thank you so very much.
Wow my first time seeing your video and I’m hooked. Thanks so much and i will keep updating you about my progress. You are a motivator to me. God Bless You

This is an excellent bit of information. And the video demonstrates similar yoga exercises I do myself.
Just stumbled across your website and love it, so I bookmarked it :)
How long have you been doing yoga?
Peace :)
Hi Anmol,
Thanks for the great video! I wanted to know if this series should be done everyday and can be combined with other yoga exercises?
Thanks!
Bimal,
Yes, it is okay to use a small stool or sit on a chair to do some of the exercises that you cannot do sitting down.
All the best,
Trupti
I can`t sit on the floor with my legs crossed to do some of the exercises if i use a small stool will that be ok ?
Akhil,
Thank you for your comment. Appreciated.

Trupti

Jenny,
The only difference for women would be during menstruation; No Inversions or Stomach Pumping and go at half the power.
All the best,
Trupti
