Welcome to the Free Online Book of Kundalini Yoga Exercises & Kundalini Yoga Kriyas (sets). Kriyas are a set of Kundalini Yoga exercises which are done in a particular sequence and work on a specific theme (such as the immune system, willpower, particular chakra, abdominals, etc). In some cases a kriya can be just a single, powerful Kundalini Yoga exercise, such as Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. This book in an ongoing collection of these Kundalini Yoga sets and this article will contain an updated index to help you easily select the kriyas you wish to incorporate into your yoga practice.
I suggest you read the following 2 articles as they will give a good overview of Kundalini Yoga and also instructions for how to practice yoga exercises and Kundalini Yoga Kriyas: Introduction to Kundalini Yoga and 10 Important Guidelines for Kundalini Yoga Practice. This book will explain and detail a wide range of Kundalini Yoga exercises and kriyas applicable to a wide range of purposes. The exercises and sets from this book will be a part of the Online Meditation and Kundalini Yoga Classes, that are hosted here on the Mastery of Meditation website, but these sets can, of course, also be used by you in your own daily yoga practice.

No, Breath of Fire is fine to do, but if you are starting to feel unwell, take break or slow down for a bit and see how you feel.
To strengthen your respiratory system do 4 Part Deep Breathing. It is excellent for that. From there you can move on Bhastrika Pranayama. Also, BOF itself will help your respiratory system as well.

Hi Anmol,
I wrote to u earlier. I have polyp problem and even jal neti didnt help. However, I started with course 101, and it has benefited me a lot.My blockage got opened and lots of mucus came out too. that was great and I contribute it to BREATHE OF FIRE, which I used to do at intermediate pace. But now I seem to face another problem. My chest seems to be heavy.There seem to be a lump (not physically) in my throat as if something heavy is there at the base of my throat and there is little strain in my ears. All these symptoms seems familiar to me when I caught early bronchitis few years back due to nasal drippings (polyp). Is there something wrong I am doing? shud I not do breathe of fire? Also, are there pranayams to strenghten my respiratory system?

Hi again Anmol,
Just popped in to let you know that I’ve been keeping up with the yoga sets, and that I am already noticing improvements. I feel more serene, more patient and more flexible too. I also notice that I tend to sit up straight more and it helps with my back pain. I also bought a book to guide me a bit for those times I don’t have access to the internet.
