Hi Anmol,
Could you please respond to me post dated August 7th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Namaste, Dear Anmol !!!
I stumbled upon this web site and to say that it is “Great ” is not doing justice to your great work.
I started integrating weight loss yoga exercises and Kapalabhati pranayam. I would like you to help me with some yoga exercises for mild cervical spondylosis.
Thank you, very much.
A. Sankaran
Hi Anmol,

Hi Anmol,
I am a new reader to all your wonderful articles and insights and since some weeks a regular follower of all your yoga videos. Honestly i am so refreshed and engertic all day. Thank you.
In one of your articles you mentioned, that it is good to have warm water with 1tsp of honey in the morning. But I have been taking a warm glass with bsp of lime in it every morning on empty stomach as part of my diet and fitness regime.
Please advice me out of these two, which is more beneficial and why.
Regards & Best Wishes
Marlin
Hi Anmol,
Can you suggests some exercises to correct sagging breasts ?
Hi Kanchana,
This is a complex question and below are my thoughts on this matter for you.
1. First, there is nothing wrong with making a mistake. We all make mistakes, it is part of being human. So don’t feel bad about it and don’t worry about making mistakes in the future as well, as this will paralyze you. You have reflected on the situation and learned what you can from it, that is your responsibility.
2. Choice is an illusion. This is a subtle topic, but reflect on the fact that we don’t know what thought is going to take place next in our mind. This thought will be based on all kinds of input coming in and it will be the basis for your reaction, and then more input, reaction, input, etc. Our responsibility is to become aware of this whole process and observe this reactionary nature of our mind. From this observation you will evolve to greater heights. So more than worrying about a specific act, devote yourself to practicing awareness of your reactions. That is the way forward.
3. Forgive yourself and be gentle with yourself. Don’t be so hard on yourself. It is ok. To diminish the feelings of guilt, remind yourself that life is a big game and the drama of one ego in the vast expanse of time and space is so very small, so don’t get caught up in the drama. Find that which gives you great joy to do, that which you love to do, and devote yourself to it. Meditation will help you with this shift to greater awareness.
God Bless You,
Anmol

Hi Mahesh,
Great to hear you have started a yoga practice. There is a discussion on hair growth on the following thread. Generally this is a Pitta Disorder from an Ayurvedic perspective. I need to start a forum on this website soon :-).

Hi Anmol,
I am new to your site and i’am so much impressed and i have started to do the basic yoga. Can you please let me know there is any yoga for hair growth.
Dear Anmol Mehta:
…am new to your site… are you in los angeles? if so, where….you give classes, etc.? Will peruse you site more…

also, could you (or I or anyone?!) write something about the temptation for “spiritual seekers” to ignore common sense clarification of communication, misunderstandings—because it means nothing to them about “other”….
“self” seems to too-often be the motivation here in L.A. And many of those same self-serving people are definitely into “meditation”, “yoga”, “self-help”, self-development, self-education, self-nutrition, self-advancement, self-prosperity, self-this and self-that. self-aggrandizement of spirituality, while ignoring common sense civility and grace in communication with others….
You try to have an exchange with them…and all I hear (perhaps because of listening too well)…is all their self-interests—–just like nations do, without regard to the other nations’ interests and perspectives in communication.
…they simply don’t communicate or recognize the “feelings” / perspectives of others. The whole society seems to be leaning this way… I’m told that potential employers don’t even send out thank yous and encouragements for applying for jobs, even in form letter! If they’re interested, they’ll call you. Live with it.
That’s the way it is.
Dehumanizing, ungracious, in my book.
And I find this phenomenon in the “new age” and in phony “spirituality” movements. Mental malpractices, manipulations…. cunning cleverness cloaked in goodness.
Yes, meditate for purity of motivations to envelop our hearts and environments?!
Your thoughts on this….
A last thought:
I’m learning to ignore those who “thing” you in this thinged society…and I’ve never wanted to do business with those I do not respect or whom I feel are unethical, even if there’s ethical money to be had.
Thank you for this site….will peruse!
Sir,
Around 8 months back (in NOV’08)because of high bp my father(staying in India(Delhi) had multiple clotting on right side of brain because of which his left side got partial paralytical attack. He is still feeling numbness/heaviness on left side of body , he always feels that he is carrying weight with him.
After that he had to undertake by pass surgery(in FEB’09) because of which the heaviness got increased.
He is doing Anulom Vilom for about half and hour in morning and evening from last 10 years also.
Is there any remedy for the same by exercise or ayurved? If yes please provide the same.
We have tried allopathy, haemopathy, panchkarma, reiki till date but nothing is working till date.
Hoping against the hope.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi Anmol,
I’ve pasted a comment in one of your earlier blog post on Best Spiritual Book. If time permits you, please read my comment and give your thoughts on them.
Thanks.

Hello Anmol,
With reference to the comments between you and Gail above, I too have been experiencing strong vibrations especially in the lower body for the past year… I sometimes used to wonder if I have my mobile on vibrate and in my back pocket eventhough I knew it wasn’t there but I’d still check… I haven’t seen a doctor about this. Do you have any idea what this is about?
Thank you very much for all that you do.
Hi Anmol,
I have a problem. I made a mistake in the past. While doing it I never realised it. Even I did not think whether it is right or wrong. I just did what I liked. Now I feel very guilty. I ask myself why I did that. I have no answer. Sometimes I feel like it was not me who did that mistake. Because I was not of that character to have done that. What are the ways to come out of this guilty feeling and How can I ensure that I will not commit that mistake again ? I am not able to analyse the reason of why I did the mistake also. Please help me
Hello Anmol, I am new to the site and just wanted to thank you for the excellent instruction. Yoga videos don’t take the time describing the exercises in near the amount of detail as this website. I haven’t found anything else quite like it and I think its categorized perfectly. I’m hoping to take some 3HO courses in the future and this will help me prepare for it. I will suggest this site to anyone interested in Kundalini Yoga.
Thank you very much for your prompt response
Hi Kanchana,
It takes some time for the body to adjust to Breath of Fire and also for you to master it, so it goes smoothly. Generally such pain is felt, when you are doing it with too much effort. Just practice BOF by itself as well, 1 minute a day. It will help you learn and master the technique.
Best,
Anmol
Hi Kanchana,
Please see the 2 comments and tips from “Ra” at the bottom of this page for hair growth (which is generally a pitta disorder).
