Effective Tantra Breathing Technique to Prolong Sexual Intercourse

Mastering Sex and Tantra

In Kundalini Tantra Yoga we don’t try to suppress or sublimate sexual energy, instead we look to raise it’s vibration so that our sexual charge can be utilized for nourishing our higher centers (chakras).  There are many Kundlaini Tantra Yoga Kriyas (sets), breathing exercises and meditations to help raise and channel our sexual energies.  In due course I will provide these techniques on Mastery of Meditation, but in this article I want to explore the closely related school of Sexual Tantra which is the application of Kundalini Tantra Yoga with regard to sex itself.

Tantra Breathing Technique

In this variation of Kundalini Tantra Yoga, the sex act is utilized to not only arouse and intensify one’s sexual excitement in order to reach heightened states of eroticism, but, much more importantly, sex is used to reach and experience altered states of consciousness.

Of the many requirements and prerequisites for practicing Sexual Tantra the following 2 are most important:

Key Requirements for Practicing Sexual Tantra:

1.  Loving Partner:  Most important for the practice of this branch of Tantra is to have a loving, understanding and hopefully interested partner.  Sexual Tantra is not really about just having sex, although you may end up doing that a lot :-).  It is about exploring this communion between the male (Shiva) and female (Shakti) manifestations in order to reverse genesis.  In other words, from One there came many (in this case 2) and in Sexual Tantra, via sex, Shiva and Shakti merge such that the many return to One.

2. Sexual Control:  If you want to go very far in the exploration of Sexual Tantra, you better learn to master your sexual passions.  There are many facets to this mastery of your sexual nature and this article is to help the male partner master his ejaculatory response during sexual intercourse.

Tantric Breathing Technique to Prolong Sexual Intercourse:

The following technique is a variation of Kapalbhati Pranayama and it is simple yet very effective.

During sexual intercourse, as the excitement peaks for the male and he approaches orgasm he should begin to do Kapalbhati Pranayama through the mouth.  Specifically, he should puff air out of his mouth while pulling in the stomach muscle sharply with each exhalation.  As in Kapalbhati, allow the stomach to relax for the recoil inhalation to take place. This rapid puffing out of air through the mouth changes the blood chemistry and will retard ejaculation by easing the blood supply to the male sexual organ.

As with any skill, practice makes perfect, but unlike the grind that practice usually is, I suspect you won’t mind working on this one so much :-).

I have done SOME Tantra in the past / I have no way of teacing the techniques to my husband,if there’s so many different outlooks today!- We are looking forward to aline time abd ,he lives all I am teaxging him of spirituality / but, I want prolonged intercourse but, also he enjoys my teachings so verbal connections are so beautiful/ I just want to be sure for us both I’m doing things as they should be done! He has a extremely busy mind lately and we haven’t had much time to explore so I guess what I’m asking is…how can we use Tantra and reconnect? Also I especially want to help him relax his mind so he can feel nore confidence/ even after 10years I sense I intimidate him sexually- I want to also reach my maximum climax TOGETHER/ I want to make this a journey for us -with a bit of dominant switching/ me as the teacher-him as a confident man taking charge!!!

tantra is meant for a woman to be with god.

it is not meant for two women and certainly not with men.

when a woman practices sex with a male, it is terribly destructive to a man’s energy body.

air and spirit is meant to be drawn up in through the vagina, through all the chakras, then out through the mouth and crown,

then energy is to enter the crown and travel down to exit through the woman’s vagina,

then the woman inhales through the mouth then exhales through the vagina.

for a woman to use a man’s spirit for her own tantric purposes is like causing a man to bleed out through his ureter, so this explains

both periods and pregnancy (where the child grows as a parasite inside the body wheras trees reproduce outside of their bodies).

a man should not practice any form of masturbation. this is disruptive to jing energies. women should inseminate themselves in private.

hopefully, with technology and by spreading this message, we can reverse both periods and pregnancy and the horrible mutagen that

causes women’s uterus to grow outside of their bodies (disgusting!).

@sheena – you can do a soft insertion of the penis into the vagina. The woman will take the penis in her hands with index and middle fingers of one hand wrapped around the penis just below the head and the thumb or middle finger and index finger of the other hand wrapped around the base. This will provide the penis enough girth to enter the vagina. Tantric sex does not require the penis to be erect. In fact, modern tantra practitioners believe frictional sex is what causes erectile dysfunction in men and inability to generate fluids in woman. So Tantric sex remedies this by developing sensitivity between the penis and vagina through rocking and swaying motions as well as in stillness. The goal isn’t orgasm per se but to surrender in love to your partner and thereby transcend the duality of man and woman through the union of energies. A bonus… Over time the greater sensitivity that is developed through this practice should help some with the erection issue.
