My length of meditation varies widely, but I do a mindfulness meditation for 45 minutes once each week. Day to day I meditate anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes depending on what I am doing and how much time I have.
I agree that length of meditation isn’t the most important thing… but I have also used this as an excuse in the past. Brutal self-honesty (and self-acceptance) seems to be required.
Length of meditation is not necessarily important simply the act of doing it is what allows one to put some space between the hectic thoughts of the mind…
Sir.
I make sure I spend at least minimium 30min in medatng and breathing.
By this it has helped me to ovrrcome many difficulties. Improvr Health. Memory.and many more
I found your site a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. I’ve been practicing Kundalini Yoga for almost 2 years. Thanks for all the wonderful articles and information.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your input. Good to know at least some of us are at peace :-P.
Cheers,

I don’t meditate daily, but with my spiritual school I meditate a few times per month.
I am fortunate, however, to have great peace of mind most of the time…. which has made it more of a challenge to pursue meditation.
I’m sure if I didn’t feel at peace with myself, I’d be inclined to meditate more often. :)
