A controversial figure to say the least, Osho – also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh – was an Indian mystic, guru and spiritual leader with an international following. He was permissive on sex, kicked out of the USA on immigration charges after run-ins with the locals when he tried to establish an ashram in Oregon, and known for pulling no punches when it came to re-interpreting spiritual texts. He even had a go at Ghandi a few times…
Since his death in 1990, he’s only gained in infamy – his Poona-based ashram is still running, now named Osho’s International Meditation Resort. He may be the only spiritual leader to commission a set of tarot cards – Osho Cards – and create an extra card called The Master depicting himself.
One thing to always keen in mind though is that the teachings are much more important than the teacher. So forget the teacher if you have to, but always remember the teachings.

Osho’s quotes are always an inpiration and, for Kundalini Yogis who enjoy reading the JapJi, there is a very beautiful book by Osho called “The True Name. Talks on the Japuji Saheb of Guru Nanak Dev”.
Thanks for quotes. I only knew Osho for his teachings on no exploitation, no abuse, no power-trip. The quotes proves just how deep this man is.
