Silent Mind Meditation Program: Author’s Note
The art of Meditation is to bring the mind to a state of stillness such that thoughts no longer interfere with pure Reality and that which lies beyond time, space and self can be Realized. The Silent Mind (SM) Meditation Program is designed to help create this silence within by teaching the practitioner the powerful Silent Mind Meditation system.
SM is based on the power of the individual to develop acute perception into the workings of their own mind in order to perceive the Truth of What Is. It integrates Yoga, Pranayam (breathing exercises) and Bandhas (subtle body locks to channel energy) to build the environment to support the Silent Mind Meditations that are the core focus of the program.
It is designed as a course book where the program spans 12 weeks. The early weeks teach basic meditations and specific Yoga Sets to prepare the body and mind for the potent Silent Mind Meditations that come later in the course. Thus, it is very useful to the novice as well as the advanced practitioner. Overall, it is simply a very effective approach for transcending the ordinary, reactive mind.
The version currently on the website is quite condensed and concentrated so it might need some careful reading. One last thing, don’t give up! The perceptual requirements of Silent Mind Meditation are a human capability that you may not have worked to develop until now. Stick with the practice, don’t leave this wonderful planet without having reached your full human potential and fulfilling the highest goal of human life – Merging with Absolute Reality.
Dear Bupposo,
Welcome to the Real party :-).
Keep going and let your intuition guide you.
Best,
Anmol
Sorry, the meditation I was talking about was the Silent Mind Meditation. Just wanted to share my experience with it.
I watched your video on youtube about this meditation and gave it a shot. At first i didn’t know if anything was really going to happen but after following each step thoroughly, and after slowing my thoughts and honing in on effort, my mind then halted, and i felt this extreme, indescribable feeling of bliss or enlightenment. it lasted about 30 seconds. I was totally shocked. after getting back to reality my heart was beating very fast and i was breathing hard. It was very intense. I still don’t really know what exactly happened but am very surprised. Maybe i wasn’t ready for that much all at once?
Thank you for being such a presence when needed, the site, your instructions and the videos are well done and provide simply what I need without causing frustration from lack of understanding or difficulty with the website. Continue Anmol.
Dear Anmol and Trupti, I will be starting week 6 of the silent mind med program in a day or two and so far it is going really really well. I’ve combined it with many other yoga practices and meditations from the site which have altogether pulled me out of a dark place and set me on a much brighter path. Once again just wanted to say thanks, very very much. Wishing you and yours the very best, Gray.
Kathie,

Hi Tracey,
:-)
Great to get your feedback. The SM meditation technique which you will encounter later is the meditation I practice. It is not the easiest, but it is the most direct and purest approach of insight meditation I know of.
Keep me updated on your progress.
Best,
Anmol

Dear Waseem,
I would like you to start with Anuloma Viloma Pranayama to clear the psychic channels of negativity and emotional debris. Once you feel more settled and tranquil I will indicate a more powerful breathing exercise to purge patterns of thought.
