Survey: What Are the Biggest Mistakes You Have Made in Life?
(Results have been posted for this survey here: Important Life Lessons to Learn from Biggest Mistakes in Life Survey)
The purpose of the surveys we run here on Mastery of Meditation & Yoga is so that we can learn from each other. Today’s survey is about just that. It is about sharing our experiences in life and specifically, about those aspects, if any, we wished we had done differently. The point is to help others think about those things that tend to have far reaching consequences, so that they make thoughtful decisions and commitments before it is too late.

If you answer “Other”, or generally have some wisdom about life you would like to share please feel free to leave some comments. Also, you can pick more than one response, I have you don’t have to pick too many though

Hi Falguni,
I certainly subscribe to the attitude and approach you have mentioned above. Let me for a moment though play Devil’s Advocate though :-).
What if it is not so? What if life is not at all concerned with the evolution of any individual consciousness. After all, individuality or existence of separate selfs is a false reality, so why would life have designs for that which is false?
Just food for thought.
Best,
Anmol
Dear Anmol,
I feel each an every options you have suggested above deserves a special attention. However, I strongly feel that with each mistake there is an inherent opportunity to grow and so it’s not a mistake. As Echart Tolle says, Life will bring you that experience which you need the most at any given time to further your evolutionary conciousness.
Peace,
Falguni
