Beginner Kundalini Yoga Video
This beginner kundalini yoga set, called the Morning Wake-up Yoga Exercises, is quite possibly the favorite set for beginning yoga practitioners. Don’t interpret that to mean that this set is light on benefits, because on the contrary, this is the yoga set for which I also receive the most positive feedback for. You can read some of the readers’ comments on this set in the article, True Success Stories of the Benefits of Kundalini Yoga.
This yoga video will be the third entry of the Free Online Yoga Video series, and the set is described in detail in the chapter Yoga Positions for Beginners for Daily Practice, from the Online Kundalini Yoga Sets E-Book.
This is an excellent set for those just starting out with yoga. It encompasses exercises that cover many of the important areas that kundalini yoga indicates should be worked on on a daily basis. In addition, this is a compact, short set that does not require much time to do. Finally, the positions used in this set are generally easy to do, and the slightly difficult one’s have nice modifications which offer similar benefits.
The entire set is done with the Breath of Fire Breathing Exercise, but feel free to take a break from the Breath of Fire, if it gets too much and just continue to do the exercises with normal breathing instead. Also, the exercises are supposed to be done without taking a break in between, but the same rule applies as above. Take a break as needed. Normski,
Yes – Kundalini Yoga will help with energy.
Bhastrika, Breath-of-fire and Kapalbhati pranayam will help with boosting your energy as well.
Whereas there is no harm in doing Yoga sporadically, as with any exercise program – doing it continuously will obviously give you the most benefits.
All the best,
Trupti

Hi Anmol, I’ve been feeling tired & low on energy recently, Will this help me? I have recently started Kundalini yoga, but not doing it everyday, is this ok?

Hi Anmol,
Have watched a couple of your videos and I do like them. I’m 35 and single. Since October 2006, I have developed a severe allergy to nickel and PABA and ever since, I have put on lots of weight. I now weigh 57 kgs and I so want to lose these extra kilos! Please advice me as to which set of yoga excerises I should take up since I’m a beginner. Also is there some way that I could get rid of these allergies through yoga?
Thanks & Regards,
Florence

Hi anmol,
I’ve been following this site regularly and have benefited from the pranayama exercises. My fav is BOF!
Of late, I have been doing some research on Sudarshan Kriya (by sri ravi shankar). There are no sessions close to where I live and was wondering if you knew the technique. If so, could you please post it on your website.
I did read the Sodarsana Chakra Kriya on your site. Is this the same as the Ravi Shankar’s Sudarshan Kriya?
Thanks.
